A win, a draw and a loss were on the cards this weekend for our Champions League group stage opponents. Let's take a look at last weekend's results from Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon and Olympiacos.

OLYMPIACOS DROP DERBY

Wednesday's Allianz Stadium opponents will be licking their wounds from the weekend as Olympiacos dropped a 3-2 result to local rivals AEK Athens. Marko Marin and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe had the visitors up 2-0, but AEK Athens staged a furious second half comeback.

Goals in the 62nd and 79th minutes from Lazaros Christodoulopoulos brought the hosts level and Petros Mantalos won it for AEK in the 89th minute to complete the comeback. Heading into Wednesday's match Olympiacos sit fifth in the table with a 2-2-1 record five points behind leaders AEK.

BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR BARÇA

Barcelona continued their perfect start to the La Liga season with a comprehensive 3-0 win away to Girona. Own goal was the leading scorer on the day as Aday and Gorka Iraizoz turned the ball into their own net while Luis Suarez added a third. Barcelona have scored 20 goals this season while allowing just two.

SPORTING LOSE PERFECT RECORD

Sporting Lisbon had to settle for a point on the road this weekend away to Moreirense. Last year's Portugese League Cup winners took a shock lead through Rafael Costa in the 43rd minute, but Sporting pulled level through a Mohamed Abarhoune own goal.

With the draw, Sporting drops to second place with a 6-1-0 record, two points behind FC Porto who remain a perfect 7-0-0.
