The host nation of next year’s World Cup, Russia is embracing the Bianconeri colours more than ever before, in no small part thanks to the J|Academy programme.

The latest proof comes in the form of two Academies opening in Moscow and St. Petersburg, allowing youngsters from Russia’s two largest cities to hone their footballing skills by following Juventus’ proven training methodologies.

Russia’s J|Academy partner Alexey Mishakyn met J|Academy director Gianluca Pessotto in Turin to finalise the new agreement.

The two centres, open throughout the calendar year, mark a significant increase on Bianconeri operations in the country, where there have been Training Camps held periodically over the last four years.

One such Camp took place in the southern city of Sochi between 29 April and 9 May and another is scheduled for between 12 and 17 June. Meanwhile, from 19 to 24 June it will be the turn of Majkop to host children for this week-long ‘Bianconeri holiday’ experience.
