Three prestigious opponents: Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Roma. Three symbolic cities of the United States: New York, Miami and Boston.

An exciting summer of football awaits Bianconeri players and supporters alike after plans were confirmed today for the Juventus Summer Tour 2017 by Jeep, in which the club will also travel to the United States this July for the International Champions Cup (ICC).

The off-season tournament, organised by Relevent Sports and now in its fifth edition, pits the world’s top clubs against one another in matches held across North America and Asia.

The Bianconeri will get the ball rolling with a blockbuster match against Barcelona on Saturday 22 July at New York’s MetLife Stadium – home to NFL outfits, the Giants and the Jets.

The fixture is pencilled in for just three months after Juve take on the Blaugrana in this season’s Champions League quarter-finals (to be played on 11 and 19 April).

The reigning Serie A champions then head south to Miami where on Wednesday 26 July they face Paris Saint-Germain at the Hard Rock Stadium – the arena best known for hosting matches of the Dolphins.

They finish the tour at Boston’s Gillette Stadium – home to the New England Patriots – on Sunday 30 July against Italian rivals Roma in what provides a timely taster ahead of the new league campaign.

“The tour in the United States represents a key stage of our international development,” declared Juventus’ Co-Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci at today’s event launch in New York.

“We’ll be visiting some huge cities in a market in which football is the sport with the highest growth index both in terms of supporters and participation.”

Juventus Legends president David Trezeguet emphasised the importance of the tour both from a players’ and fans’ perspective.

“Taking part in prestigious tournaments such as the International Champions Cup not only allows us to square up against the world’s top sides before the the season starts, but it’s also an incredible opportunity to meet many of our overseas supporters who follow us so passionately throughout the campaign.

“It’s a chance for us to pay them back for their dedication and affection towards us.”

This is the third time that Juventus will feature in the ICC after taking part last summer in Melbourne, Australia and in 2013 in the US cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami.
