On a night where Leonardo Bonucci made his 300th appearance for the club, there was only one result that could do the landmark justice at Juventus Stadium on Matchday 25.

And, thanks to a maiden strike of the season for Claudio Marchisio, a beautifully taken brace for Paulo Dybala and a 22nd Juve goal for Gonzalo Higuain, the Bianconeri duly delivered to sweep aside Palermo and earn their 29th home league win in a row.

The new year has been characterised by lightning fast Juventus starts and the home crowd were treated to more early fireworks here as the reigning champions raced into an unassailable 2-0 lead ahead of half-time before delivering a further killer blow after the interval.

Allegri's men needed just 13 minutes to get their noses in front; Higuain's shot was palmed out by goalkeeper Josip Posavec only for Marchisio to ram home left-footed from close range on the rebound.

A piece of Dybala wizardry doubled the advantage moments the break, the former Palermo man whipping an unstoppable free-kick up and over the wall and into the top corner.

The points were sealed shortly after the hour-mark in style, Dybala spliting the visiting defence in half for Higuain to deftly chip over Posavec on the run.

La Joya deservedly added a late fourth minutes from full-time arriving late onto Higuain's perfect back-heel to pass the ball into the bottom corner.

Six games, six wins, 13 goals, one conceded. Juve march on.
