After helping the Bianconeri win a third straight Coppa Italia, goalkeeper Norberto Neto has his say on a triumphant night in Rome

    FIRST OBJECTIVE ACCOMPLISHED

“I feel really proud, both of myself and the whole team. Winning the Coppa Italia was the first of our goals to cross off this season. We must relish the moment, but in just three days’ time we’ve a chance to achieve our next objective: the Serie A title, so we have to focus on that straight away.”

TWO SUPER SAVES ON FELIPE ANDERSON AND IMMOBILE

“They were two tricky saves and they were important in the context of the match and how Lazio were pushing for a goal at the time. I rode my luck a little to make the block on Immobile. Barzagli helped out by putting him off as he pulled the trigger.

“The crucial thing was that we managed to win: we’re confident in our own abilities and our chances to reach all of the objectives that we’ve set ourselves.”

STRENGTH LIES IN THE WHOLE SQUAD

“When we go into games, we always give everything we’ve got and always look to win. This season we’ve shown that we’re a strong side and we’ve grown significantly. Our strength comes down to the whole squad. Everyone is playing and we’re getting even better with every match.”

HEADS HELD HIGH UNTIL SEASON'S END

“The best part of the season has started now. It was really important to win and we did it. Now we must keep going with our heads held high, knowing that, by maintaining the same determination that we put in today, we can achieve what we want to.”
