Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is included in FIFA’s shortlist for the best coach of the year

He guided the Bianconeri to a legendary sixth straight Scudetto title, an unprecedented third consecutive Coppa Italia and a second Champions League final in three years.

As a result, Massimiliano Allegri has been nominated for the Best FIFA Men’s Coach Award 2017.

Joining the Tuscan tactician in the shortlist of 12 managers are Carlo Ancelotti, Antonio Conte, Luis Enrique, Pep Guardiola, Leonardo Jardim, Joachim Low, Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino, Diego Simeone, Tite and Zinedine Zidane.

The winner will be chosen by a panel composed of coaches and captains of the FIFA national teams, a select group of journalists and also supporters, who can vote via an online form from Monday 21 August until 7 September.

The shortlist will be whittled down to the top three candidates, who will be named in mid-September, while the overall winner will be announced at an official ceremony in London on 23 October.

Congratulations and best of luck, Mister!
