Massimiliano Allegri calls on his team to keep up their winning momentum away at Udinese on Sunday afternoon

      Full focus in Udine

“Of all the games left between now and the international break, this is probably one of the toughest. Udinese always pull out good results when their backs are against the wall. For that reason, tomorrow’s game is very important; winning it will give us another big boost going forwards.

“It will be a physical 90 minutes and one of real significance; as with every year, everyone ups the ante at this time of the season. We’re coming off the back of a great run but our biggest games are yet to come.”

      Team news

“My team selection will reflect our recent run of fixtures, with an eye on the matches on the way in the next two weeks. We’re in the thick of it at the moment but thankfully we’ve had four days to rest up from Napoli on Tuesday.

"The 'usual suspects' will line up in attack while Benatia and Chiellini are competing for one slot in defence. Marchisio is fit and ready.

“I’ve always enjoyed observing how individuals grow, especially on the ball, because it’s from the development of single players that the whole squad evolves."

      Long way to go...

"There’s still a long way to go; given that Roma can still reach 95 points, we need to make sure we earn 96. It would be a mistake to assume the chase is already over. We have to remain focused and keep our intensity, determination and confidence high between now and the end of the season.”
