One hundred and twenty years of history, retold in 10 moments.

Until 28 February 2018, Juventus fans will have an extra reason to visit Juventus Museum: namely the special exhibition "Black and White Times - Walter Veltroni demonstrates 120 years of Juventus."

The exhibition was inaugurated this afternoon in the attendance of Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli, Juventus Museum president, Paolo Garimberti, and curator of the exhibition, Walter Veltroni.

Juventus VEO and General Manager Sport, Giuseppe Marotta, a group of first-team players and first-team manager Massimiliano Allegri, accompanied by technical staff, also visited the exhibition.

The exhibition tells the story of the club's historical and sporting past, through the evolution of its logo, which has always distinguished and identified it.

And it is the logo, which had its last big transformation in January 2017, that determines the key points in time of the exhibition. Since 1897, there are 10 moments that have seen a change in style.

They are represented by 10 windows that tell the story of the logo, and therefore the story of Juventus, through texts, images, films, songs and objects that have marked the different periods of a 120-year legend.

“I thank Paolo Garimberti for coming up with the idea of this exhibition and Walter Veltroni for curating it. This is a very interesting journey through Italian history,” opened Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli.

“The constant parallelism between the history of football and that of Italian lifestyle is the inspiration behind ‘Black & White Times’: a ride across three centuries of football and Italian lifestyle,” explained Juventus Museum president, Paolo Garimberti.

“Without doubt, visiting this exhibition is an emotional experience, as one can relive ‘his’ or ‘her’ era. It was fantastic to carry out this project with Walter Veltroni, who responded with huge enthusiasm when we asked him to collaborate with us.”

“Football forms a part of our memories,” commented Walter Veltroni. “Time is often defined by the history of football. Therefore, to curate this exhibition was a wonderful trip down memory lane.”

Also in attendance tonight was FCA and EXOR president, John Elkann: “This is a special event, commemorating an important landmark, that of 120 years. This exhibition not only represents the history of Juventus, but also that of our nation.”

Some fans were also lucky enough to attend the inauguration, invited as Juventus Members and Official Fan Club representatives.

The representatives were Alessandro Monaco and Gianfranco Montini, (Black&White and J1897 Members respectively), Massimo Filippi (Official Fan Club Cuneo) and Enos Ferrina (Official Fan Club Astigiano).

The exhibition within Juventus Museum, will be on display until 28 February 2018.
