WHY JUVENTUS?
“I have admired Juventus from afar for a few years now and I jumped at the opportunity to join as soon as I heard of their interest. Arturo (Vidal) and Alex Sandro both told me about the passion and adoration of the supporters. I hope, in time, I can become one of their favourite players.

ADAPTING TO ITALY
“Serie A is a very strong and competitive competition. I’m looking forward to testing myself here. I like to dribble and use my pace but this is a physical league so I hope I can adapt my game as best I can.
“I want to thank Bayern Munich and Carlo Ancelotti for our time together but now I am fully focused on doing big things with Juventus.”

READY FOR WHICHEVER ROLE
"I played on the right in Ukraine with Shakhtar and down the left with Bayern, so I am happy filling either position. The decision is not up to me and the coach will judge my attributes and qualities and deploy me in the role that he sees best.
“We haven’t had time to talk about tactics yet given the speed of the completion of the transfer. Either way, I am looking to deliver my best performances whenever and wherever I play.”
After meeting the media, Costa held his very first interview with club channel, JTV, before making his way out on to the Allianz Stadium pitch, and in some style too!
Once the kick-ups were complete, the Brazilian immersed himself in Bianconeri history with a visit to Juventus Museum before meeting his new, adoring supporters at Juventus Store for signatures and selfies.
