    First training for Juventus Women

    For the first time on Thursday, Juventus Women trained under the watchful eye of manager Rita Guarino

    Thursday was Day One at the Training Center for Juventus Women who hit the Vinovo pitch for the first time. The Bianconeri, under the orders of manager Rita Guarino who held an introductory press conference for the squad earlier in the day, worked through an athletic and technical session with the ball. 

    THE PRESENT SQUAD

    The training squad included Michela Franco; Federica Russo; Simona Sodini; Laura Giuliani; Lisa Boattin; Aurora Galli; Tujia Hyryynen; Ingvild Isaksen Landvik; Cecilia Salvai; Martina Rosucci; Barbara Bonansea and Sara Gama. Assisting training was Valentina Cernoia who is recovering from a knee injury suffered with the national team.

    Also in training were five girls from the Primavera squad: Giulia Mancuso; Margherita Brscic; Adelaide Serafino; Valentina Puglisi and Flavia Devoto.

    The following players were away from the squad as part of the Italian U-19 National Team: Arianna Caruso; Sofia Cantore; Benedetta Glionna; Martina Lenzini and Vanessa Panzeri.

    THE TRAINING STAFF

    Assisting the manager in the field was second coach, Matteo Scarpa; athletic trainer Emanuele Chiappero; goalkeeper coach Giuseppe Mammoliti and Team Manager Elisa Miniati.

    The Bianconeri will meet again at the Training Center tomorrow, to undergo physical tests for departure for the training camp in Aymavilles, Valle d'Aosta, scheduled on Saturday, August 12th.
