Friday night saw two Bianconeri involved in international action, as Stephan Lichtsteiner and Miralem Pjanic played the full 90 minutes for Switzerland and Bosnia in their respective World Cup qualifiers.

Lichtsteiner, who captains his national side, tasted a 2-0 victory on the evening thanks to goals by Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri that means the Swiss maintain their 100% record in Group B, as they sit on 18 points – three above second-placed Portugal.

Pjanic, meanwhile, would have to settle for a 0-0 draw in last night’s qualifier against Greece. The result keeps Bosnia in third place and one point behind yesterday’s opponents. Belgium currently lead Group H by four points.

Tonight sees just one Juventus player in action, as Mario Lemina represents Gabon in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mali (kick-off at 21.00 CEST).
