Juventus Football Club can today confirm that Leonardo Bonucci has completed a move to AC Milan.

AGREEMENT WITH MILAN FOR THE DEFINITIVE DISPOSAL OF THE PLAYER LEONARDO BONUCCI

Turin, 15 July 2017 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement has been finalized with A.C. Milan for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Leonardo Bonucci for a consideration of € 42 million to be paid in three football seasons.

The economic effect is positive for about € 39,5 million.

Arriving as a talented prospect from Bari in 2010, Bonucci went on to become a pillar of the Juventus backline, forming a world-class defensive partnership with compatriots Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli.

It took just two seasons for the 30-year-old to begin writing history together with the Old Lady, playing a critical part in each of the club's record six-straight Scudetto wins; his own individual growth, development and role in the squad charting the same rapid rise throughout.

There would also be three consecutive Coppa Italia successes and just as many Italian Super Cups to celebrate, all lifted with pride.

The 30-year-old was at the heart of a team that conquered almost every domestic trophy available, making more appearances than any other outfield player on the way, as good an indicator as any of his quality and consistency.

Bonucci gave everything out on the field in all 319 of his appearances in Bianconeri colours, scoring 19 goals, most of them of great significance.

As both club and player turn the page on a richly successful spell together, all that remains is to wish Leonardo the very best for the next chapter in his career and to thank him for his seven years of service.

Grazie, Leo.
