Juventus’ future continued to take shape today as plans were officially unveiled for the launch of a new international school, set to be opened at the heart of the J|Village, the club’s home and headquarters from July 2017 onwards.

The World International School, or WINS, will boast an 8,500 m2 campus, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium, amphitheatre, an 800m2 park and a boarding school with space to host over 90 students. The capacity of the institution overall is expected to reach 700, from kindergarten to International Baccalaureate.

Speaking at this morning’s presentation in Turin, Juventus’ Chief Financial Officer Aldo Mazzio commented, “This partnership with WINS is in perfect harmony with the objectives Juventus has set itself in the development of the J|Village project.

“This future site will soon host the new first team Juventus Training Center, a hotel, a Media Center, this international school and a Concept Store which will stage a variety of commercial, leisure and entertainment events.

“This new school marks a continuation of our collaboration with the Formiga family, which began in 2014 with the J|College in Vinovo, where the boys in our current Primavera squad became the first cohort to receive their high-school diplomas.”

CEO and founder Paolo Formiga added, “We are an international school that promotes freedom and respect. Our goal is to nurture our students into citizens of the world. This initiative inside the J|Village will give young boys and girls access to facilities around the clock and not just for studying.”
