A goal in each half from Tottenham Hotspur saw the English Premier League side record a 2-0 win in the Bianconeri's final game before the Italian Super Cup

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen found the back of the net in either half to earn Tottenham Hotspur a 2-0 friendly victory over Juventus at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Kicking off in their new green third jersey for the first time, Juventus took their time to get settled on the famous Wembley turf and it was the home side that took an early lead.

Tottenham took the lead with their first effort on goal in the 10th minute when a cross from Kieran Trippier found the head of Kane to thump past Gianluigi Buffon.

The Bianconeri found it difficult to hit back right away and saw a Kane free kick deflected wide of the post.

A great forward ball from Mario Mandzukic found Paulo Dybala in space, but La Joya saw his effort sail over. More fine work from Douglas Costa in the 20th minute saw a dangerous ball chopped clear for a corner.

A through-ball towards Dybala led to yet another Bianconeri corner, which Dybala himself took finding Higuan at the back post but his lashed effort was parried by Hugo Lloris.

Spurs were still looking dangerous and Juve were perhaps fortunate to escape unscathed after a mix-up between Miralem Pjanic and Gianluigi Buffon saw Kane unable to take advantage.

In the 32nd minute, a dangerous Pjanic free kick was again headed behind, but on the counter Moussa Sissoko was unlucky to see a ferocious strike thunder off the post.

After the break, it was soon 2-0 to Spurs as a clever turn by Dele Alli meant the Bianconeri defence could only stand and watch as he slipped an intelligent pass to Christian Eriksen, who was able to round Buffon and finish with aplomb.

More clever work by Spurs, this time with Eriksen as provider saw Kane again go close with his effort being palmed onto the crossbar by Buffon.

Dybala earned Juve perhaps their best chance of the match with a great curled effort from the edge of the box that had Lloris at full stretch to tip it around the post.

Some great work from Dybala saw him win the ball on the left-hand side before feeding Kean, but the young striker could only agonisingly hit the crossbar from 12 yards.

It was soon the turn of Cuadrado to hit the other side of the bar, after some solo work saw him unleash a shot at goal that Lloris palmed aside.

Up next for the Bianconeri is the first big match of the 2017/18 campaign as they travel to Rome for next Sunday's Italian Super Cup showdown against Lazio.
