Juventus Women host Fiorentina on Friday in the biggest home match yet for Rita Guarino's side

It's seven matches and seven wins for Rita Guarino's Juventus Women in their inaugural season, but they'll have another stern test on Friday night at the Ale&Ricky Pitch in Vinovo hosting defending Serie A Women's champions at 20.45. (Watch live on Juventus Pass outside Italy!)

    STARTING STRONG

For the first time on Friday, the Juventus Women will face a Fiorentina side that is one of the greatest squads in Italian women's football history. However, this season they have struggled out of the gates with 12 points from seven matches sitting nine points behind Juventus Women at the top of Serie A.

Fiorentina have scored 14 goals, conceding nine while the Juventus Women have a stunning 20-2 goal difference.

Fiorentina are led up front by Patrizia Caccamo who has a team-leading four goals on the season. For Juventus Women, it's Sanni Franssi and Barbara Bonansea tied for the team lead in goals also with four each.

    COACH GUARINO'S THOUGHTS

"We have maximum respect for the Italian champions. Fiorentina has a position in the standings that isn't quite indicative of their squad's strength, so it will be a difficult and complicated match," said Guarino. "They are looking for points and determined to come here to win. We on our part will try to keep this great run going and we will face our opponent with the will to bring home the three points.

The fans coming to the match to support us is fundamental, and with a game of the importance of tomorrow's, it will be important for them to push us forward."
