Two away goals and a clean sheet means it's advantage Juve in our Champions League last-16 tie against Porto but Stephan Lichtsteiner refuses to get carried away.

Speaking after Wednesday's impressive 2-0 victory at the Estadio Do Dragao, the Swiss full-back was adamant the job is anything but done going into the return leg in Turin on 14 March.

“We must play the same way as tonight when it comes to the return leg,” he insisted. “Football is unforgiving: you only have to concede one goal and suddenly it's anyone's game again. We must keep our feet on the ground and keep pushing on.”

The 33-year-old also expressed his satisfaction at making his first appearance of the season in Europe's elite competition but was keen to place the emphasis on the collective.

“It was great to get back out there. I've learnt a lot in the last few months and I'm happy to be playing in this competition again but besides my personal feelings it's about the team and our collective performance tonight.

“Football is a team game and the team comes before everything else. Anyone who plays this sport wants to go all the way and win the trophy but it's always the team that wins.”
