Juventus vice-president, Pavel Nedved, talks after the Champions League last 16 draw in Nyon

      "TOTTENHAM A SOLID SIDE"

“The probabilities that we would fly to England were high and that’s what we’ll be doing. We’ve never played against Tottenham in an official competition, but we have crossed paths in a friendly this summer. Obviously we want to do better than we did back then.

“They’re a very solid outfit with a great coach in Mauricio Pochettino, who manages to get the very best out of their attacking potential. They also have [Fernando] Llorente in their ranks, who we know very well from his two years at Juventus. We hope he won’t end up doing a number on us as he did for Sevilla two years ago.”

      "FULLY FOCUSED ON OURSELVES"

“As always, the round of 16 is complicated, so, when the time comes, we’ll be fully focused on the task at hand and our ourselves. This is our philosophy, also in the league: to take one game at a time.

“As far as we’re concerned, after beating Napoli we’ve rediscovered that solidity and we have shown that you win matches only by working your socks off and helping one another. Allegri? He always knows what to do and makes the correct decisions.”
