Miralem Pjanic was in no mood for beating around the bush after Juventus put Torino to the sword in Saturday's derby clash.

The Bosnian midfield maestro, who scored Juve's second of the night, revelled in the Bianconeri's 4-0 victory after what was essentially 90 minutes of one-way traffic.

“We were relentless today and produced some top-quality stuff,” began the 27-year-old. “I'm pleased with my own performance and the team's. Torino always make it hard for everyone but they didn't threaten us at all today.

“I played well and so did my team-mates but we're still at the start of the season and we can't afford to ease up. We have to keep playing well and keep getting these clean sheets.”

After extending their perfect start to the Serie A campaign, the Bianconeri now turn their attentions to the Champions League, with Olympiacos due to visit in midweek.

“Now we need to win in the Champions League and do so by dominating the game from the off as we did tonight. We have a lot of quality in this squad and we're all hungry for success, including the new guys.”
