RETURNING TO THE TEAM

“During the international break, I worked well with the whole medical team, I’m very happy to be back. After 90 minutes against Sporting, I was a bit tired at the end, but that’s normal and I still have one or two matches to get back to being 100%, but I’m fine now and getting better day by day.”

AN INCREDIBLE FREE-KICK

“Me and Paulo Dybala have free-kick competitions in training and often I beat him! However, Paulo has a very good free-kick. He can kick from the right where the angle favours more his left foot, but also from the other side. Everyone hits the ball in their own way and it’s a matter of how you prefer to strike the ball. It feels good to score a free-kick whether it’s from 35 yards or 15 yards.”

THE MATCH AGAINST SPORTING

“It was three very hard points that we earned against Sporting CP. We played against a good, well-organised, and physical team. We went for it straight from the kick-off and it was important that we imposed our game on them straight away. It was a complicated and difficult match, but we gave it our all and in the end our efforts paid off.”

“We haven’t done anything yet. We still have to go to Lisbon and win in order to qualify. The team has demonstrated that they are there, and I am convinced that we will also prove it in the upcoming matches.”

FIGHTING FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP

“We are disappointed with the results of the last two games. We also had some misfortune, but that is part of football and we have to accept that. We know that we need to improve, both individually and collectively, and to show more conviction in our matches.”

“We will work twice as hard to get back to the top of the championship, our opponents will face a Juve who will not give up anything. We are focusing only on ourselves and not what our rivals do. There will be direct confrontations against those that are challenging us, and in those matches we will need to take maximum points. But right now, we think about the match against Udinese, who will give 100% when they play us, and we too will need to do the same in order to win.”
