“It’s difficult for a team like us, because there are many players who get called up, whilst some of us remain behind and are still working hard on strength and conditioning.
"In addition, the South American players come back only a few days before the next match, so they have little time to recover."
DEFENCE OR MIDFIELD?
“I’m willing to play anywhere the coach tells me. I had some difficulty at first, because you have to keep in check with the defensive line and you are more constrained to certain movements, but I am improving.
"I’ve played in several roles here at Juve and I’m glad, because it means that Allegri has confidence in me and I try to pay him back whenever I step onto the pitch.”
THE AZZURRI
“I didn’t watch the matches, but I’m sad to read about the criticisms because I have been a part of that group and it’s the best experience for any player. There can be some difficulties in starting a new cycle, but I’m sure that Italy will come out on top like always.”
