Video Assistant Referee system explained at Juventus

The 2017/18 season will be the very first in which the Video Assistant Referee system is used in Italian football matches, and today Juventus had the chance to find out all about it.

Today in Vinovo, Roberto Rosetti – responsible for the VAR project in Italy – explained the main situations for implementing the system and the timings involved during games.

Joining the representatives of the Lega Serie A at Monday’s meeting were Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved, CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Director of Sport Fabio Paratici.
