Kuwait, Oman and United Arab Emirates lead the way in the Juventus Academy Gulf Countries Tour, with Edgar Davids, Jay and the Scudetto trophy in tow

It was a week of long, fun and intense days from 26 October-1 November, as the Juventus Academy Gulf Counties Tour visited Kuwait, Oman and the UAE to further strengthen the link between Juventus and the Middle East.

For the first time, the Academies of Kuwait and Oman were visited (both active since last season), and a new Academy was inaugurated in the Emirates (to be precise in Ras Al-Khaimah, emirate of Rak), which joins the existing ones in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, thus consolidating the presence of the Juventus project in this country.

Visits, inaugurations, celebrations and of course a lot of football were the main ingredients of the tour in the Middle East. Over 1,200 children participated, who all got to experience unique moments with Jay and Bianconeri Legend, Edgar Davids.

During the week, the local media were informed on the Academy project, which at the moment counts 11 projects in and around the region (counting expansion into North Africa), making the area one of the most important for the Bianconeri. In full, the Academies in the area are in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, RAK, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco. In total, there are more than 2,800 children who play and who are trained following the Juventus methodology.
