Cristiano Ronaldo is officially unveiled as a Juventus player

Cristiano Ronaldo has now been officially presented as a Juventus player! The Portuguese forward who has a whole host of accolades to his name, including five Champions League titles and one European Championship, will be looking to win even more with the Old Lady.

Ronaldo joins after nine trophy-laden years at Real Madrid, winning La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup twice each, four Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and the FIFA Club World Cup three times.

A remarkable goalscoring record in Madrid saw Ronaldo hit 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions, averaging over a goal per game. The former Real Madrid number seven also saw his prolificacy in front of goal marked by finishing as Champions League topscorer for the last six seasons in a row, becoming the competition's all-time leading marksman with 120 strikes.

Juventus fans will have bittersweet memories of Ronaldo, after he scored three goals against the Bianconeri over two legs in last season's Champions League quarter-final vs Real Madrid. Nothing will be more memorable however than the forward's spectacular overhead kick in the first match. A goal born out of pure genius, the entire Allianz Stadium were on their feet to applaud the effort, despite it striking a vital blow to Juve's Champions League chances.

This summer Ronaldo starred for Portugal in the World Cup, for whom he has scored 85 goals (more than any other player for a European national side). Ronaldo registered four strikes at the tournament, including a stunning hat-trick in a 3-3 draw against Spain, the 51st hat-trick of his career.

Prior to his time at Real, Ronaldo also enjoyed success at his previous club Manchester United, with three Premier League titles and a Champions League medal among his awards, whilst scoring a total of 118 goals in 292 United appearances in the process.

To date, Ronaldo has won a total of five league titles, eight domestic cups, five Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, four FIFA Club World Cups, in addition to winning the Ballon d'Or five times.

Juve will be Ronaldo's fourth club of his professional career, after starting out with Sporting CP, before moving on to Manchester United and then Real Madrid. Everyone at Juventus Football Club would like to extend a big welcome to Cristiano Ronaldo.

      Bem-vindo Cristiano!
