The winger was previewing the return of the Champions League today: “We’ll be out for victory on Tuesday to achieve our objective of qualifying from the group”

Following yesterday’s victory, Juventus continue their excellent form going into their next fixture against Valencia in the Champions League at home.

“We’re feeling good,” Juan Cuadrado confirmed. “It was very important to win yesterday so we can prepare for the Champions League in a calm frame of mind.”

The Colombian was in no doubt as to the objectives on Tuesday: “Win. Firstly to qualify and also because we always aim for the best result in every game. To do so, we need to be concentrated and aware, right up until the final whistle, which is what we learned in our last defeat against Manchester United.”

Cuadrado has notably played in a couple of positions this season.

“I’m really happy wherever the gaffer asks me to play. Daily I feel proud to be part of this family and to train with these superstars. I listen to the advice of Allegri and his coaching staff every day.

“There are differences between the positions I’ve been playing. For example, in a midfield three I have to pay more attention to the defensive side of things and I get the ball more often, while also offering cover and width when we have possession. As a winger, on the other hand, I try to get into more one-on-ones and put crosses in. But for me, it’s important that I’m coming in useful for the team. We all do our best, this is our strength.”

“Cristiano Ronaldo’s main quality is his professionalism,” Juan concluded. “He’s hungry for victory and he’s come to the right place. We all think the same way he does.”
