For the third fixture in a row, Paulo Dybala was the match winner for Juventus, netting twice on Sunday afternoon as the Bianconeri saw off Udinese 2-0 at Allianz Stadium for a crucial Serie A victory.
“After the drama of Wednesday night, there was a risk that we might have gone into tonight’s match too relaxed, but instead we showed character and experience to seal all three points.
“I’m happy to have helped the team with my goals. We’re putting pressure on our rivals and we keep moving forwards. It all depends on us now.”
On the penalty, taken by Gonzalo Higuain and saved by Udinese goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri before half-time, La Joya explained: “I’ve a gentleman’s agreement with Pipita that when one of us scores, the other takes the penalty. The fact he missed doesn’t change anything.”
