Valencia were the first team from Juve's Champions League group to play this weekend, as they took on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. The home side went in front after just eight minutes when Daniel Wass turned into his own net. Real sealed it late on with a goal from Lucas Vazquez in the 83rd minute to make it 2-0.

There was a thriller at St. Mary's in the Premiership, as Manchester United travelled away to Southampton. The Saints found themselves 2-0 up after just 20 minutes of play, with goals coming from Stuart Armstrong and Cedric Soares. However, Romelu Lukaku pulled a goal back after 33 minutes, before Spaniard, Ander Herrera tied the game up six minutes later, as the match finished 2-2.

Finally, our next opponents in the Champions League, Young Boys faced up against Basel on Sunday. The hosts went ahead through Albian Ajeti on 16 minutes to end the first half in front. The league leaders turned it around however in the second half, with Mohamed Aly Camara equalising 20 minutes from time. Miralem Sulejmani put Young Boys ahead in the 79th, before Christian Fassnacht made it safe on 90 minutes.
