Juventus Junior Members had the opportunity today to ask Federico Bernardeschi their questions in a packed conference room at Vinovo!

It was a special afternoon for the lucky Junior Members, who became Junior Reporters for the day, as they each got the opportunity to interview Juventus forward, Federico Bernardeschi.

After being kept entertained by Jay in the build-up to the event, you can imagine the excitement that filled Juventus Media Center, when Berna made his entrance!

The very first question immediately put the 24-year-old on the spot, as he was asked what three things he would bring with him to a desert island!

Then came anecdotes of when Berna himself was a child. Did he break any objects at home from playing football? You can bet he did!

A budding star for the Bianconeri and his native Italy, Bernardeschi is a real role model for his star-struck supporters, and he had some excellent advice for them on how to go far in life.

Meanwhile, he also underlined the importance of studying hard at school: “Are your Mums tough on you when it comes to doing your homework? Well they’re right! Study first, then it’s time to play. I can assure you that Mums always know best!”

It has been a positive debut season at Juventus for Federico and he fondly recalls the moment that he scored his very first goal for the club – against Atalanta back in October.

Asked who his best friend was at the club, Federico couldn’t pick out just one!

“Buffon, Chiellini, Barzagli, Marchisio, and then there’s also Dybala, Higuain and Douglas Costa. There’s lots of us. We’re a nice group, we stick together and we want the best for each other.”

After turning off the microphone, Bernardeschi made it a perfect day for our Junior Reporters by joining them for high-fives, autographs and, of course, the traditional team photo!

For those budding Bianconeri journalists out there, there will be further opportunities to pose questions to players by signing up for a Junior Membership and entering the contest on this page. Not that the J-Kids experience stops there… stay tuned for more upcoming exciting events right here!
