The best attack, second-best defence and much more: all of Juventus’ records so far in 2018/19

It has been an exceptional start to the season for the Bianconeri, who have known only one result so far: victory, both in Serie A and the Champions League.

At the October international break, Massimiliano Allegri’s men have claimed eight wins from eight, whilst boasting the best attack with 18 goals scored and the second-best backline, having conceded just five times (only Sampdoria have a better record: four).

Juventus also sit top of the tree in terms of ball possession (61.9% on average), shots on target (59), passes (4,277) and passing accuracy (88.8%). Finally, the Bianconeri have faced the fewest shots in total (72) and on target (22).

    INDIVIDUAL STATS & RECORDS

Most of the club’s individual achievements are made in Portugal this season: Joao Cancelo has completed the second most dribbles in Serie A (17) behind only Federico Chiesa, while Cristiano Ronaldo has registered the highest number of total shots (61) shots on target (26) and assists (4) in the league.

With reference solely to the Bianconeri locker room, Ronaldo and Mario Mandzukic are the joint leading scorers (4 goals apiece); Alex Sandro has whipped in the most crosses (46), made the most tackles (17) and regained possession the most times (49). Miralem Pjanic has created the most goalscoring opportunities (18) and completed the most passes (489).
