Last night Juventus recorded 73% ball possession, with over 40% of attacks from the left, with an incredible number of 30 total shots, a record for Juventus in a single Serie A game since January 2016 (30 vs Chievo), and 28 crosses.

The Old Lady won 45 duels and made 626 passes. In fact, the stats show that Juventus practically dominated the game from start to finish, even if it took them until the end to find the breakthrough.

  1. DIFFICULT START FOR THE OPPOSITION

Frosinone at the first Serie A side since Venezia in the 1998/99 season that have failed to find the net in their opening five matches.

It also now 666 total minutes since Frosinone last scored a goal in the top flight, after netting against Milan in May 2016.

Also, Frosinone have only scored one goal against Juve in Serie A in three attempts, Leonardo Blanchard's effort in September 2015.

Cristiano Ronaldo has so far averaged 8.4 shots per game in Serie A, more than any other player since the 2004/05 season.

Four of the best six performances for shots made in a single game in this championship belong to Ronaldo.

In the 27th minute of last night's match, Ronaldo overtook Frosinone for the number of shots made in this league (37 v 36).

At the end of the game there were 42 total shots by CR7 in Serie A, four more than Frosinone have attempted all season.

It was the second decisive goal so far this campaign from Federico Bernardeschi, after the Italian's winning goal on the first day against Chievo, also in stoppage time. Bernardeschi ensured all three points yesterday after the Bianconeri had gone ahead in the game through Ronaldo.

Five of the six goals scored by Bernardeschi for Juventus in Serie A have come away from home.

Since stepping onto the pitch, Bernardeschi created four chances, had an 89% passing accuracy, and played 41 passes, on top of scoring a vital goal.
