Five key points to analyse last night's Derby d'Italia

A professional and strong performance from the Bianconeri saw them win last night's Derby d'Italia, having defeated Inter, 1-0 at Allianz Stadium with the decisive goal coming from Mario Mandzukic in the second half.

      1. A GREAT START GETS BETTER

Following last night's victory, Juventus have equalled the best ever start after 15 games in the top five European leagues in the three-point era! (43 points)

      2. MIS-FIRING INTER

No goal for Inter, who had scored in each of their previous 10 league games. In fact, their topscorer, Mauro Icardi didn't even have a single shot on goal, the fast time its happened to the Argentine in a 90-minute league game since March against Napoli.

It marks only the second time that Inter have conceded goals in consecutive league games this season.

      3. A SOLID CLEAN SHEET

After having gone through conceding three games in a row in the league, the Bianconeri have now kept a clean sheet in their last four games.

      4. ATTACKING FLAIR

As well as the scoreline, statistically Juventus were on-top last night in terms of the number of shots and chances created, as well as their precise play in the final third

      5. MARIO AGAIN!

It was the fifth home goal in Serie A for Mario Mandzukic, who has never done better with Juventus in a single Serie A season. Three of his last five league goals have come via a header.

Finally, last night marked the Croatian's first goal in Serie A against Inter with the Bianconeri in his seventh appearance against the Nerazzurri.
