Juventus Football Club can confirm that Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro will play next season on loan at Portuguese side Sporting CP.

Having signed for Juventus in the January transfer window of 2015 from Genoa, Sturaro went on to make 15 total appearances that season, scoring one goal.

After making his debut in the Coppa Italia away to Fiorentina, the combative midfielder went on to have a run in the side, with perhaps his most memorable performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg.

Sturaro helped greatly in Juve's push to the final in Berlin, whilst he would win his first of four domestic doubles at Juventus by winning the Coppa Italia and Scudetto, capping off the Bianconeri's final league game of the season with a wonderful debut goal against Napoli.

Upon establishing himself as a highly dependable first-team squad player and breaking into the Italian national setup, Sturaro went on to lift a total of four Scudetti, four Coppa Italia titles and one Italian Super Cup during his time at the club. Overall, Sturaro has made a total of 90 appearances, scoring two goals.

Thank you for your years of service, Stefano, and good luck!
