The Bianconeri prepare to take on Manchester United on Champions League Matchday 4, knowing that a win will see them qualified as group winners

      PREVIOUS FIXTURES

This is the 14th match in all European competitions between Juventus and Manchester United. The Bianconeri have achieved six wins, whilst there are five for the English side and two draws to complete the head-to-head.

United have won the last two Champions League matches in Turin, scoring three goals in each of them: 3-2 in April 1999 and 3-0 in February 2003 (Man Utd have the best record away at Juve in the Champions League along with Bayern Munich).

Since that evening in 2003, the Bianconeri has been beaten only once in the last 35 home matches in the group stage of the competition (24 wins, 10 draws).

      THE OPPOSITION

Manchester United haven't scored in their last two Champions League games, and the last time it didn't happen for three consecutive games was back in November 2005.

The Red Devils haven't lost both matches against the same team in the Champions League group stage since 2001/02 against Deportivo La Coruña, with the only other time that it happened being against Juventus in 1996/97.

Man United only registered six shots against the Bianconeri in the game at Old Trafford, the last time they did worse was back in October 2013 against Shakhtar Donetsk under David Moyes (four shots).

      ALLEGRI & MOURINHO

Massimiliano Allegri has lost only one of the last 26 home games in the Champions League as a coach (16 wins, nine draws).

The last game coached by Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho at Juve was in December 2009, when he lost 1-2 in a Serie A game on the Inter bench.
