The international break was rounded off with some positive news for Juventus before the squad returns to training at Continassa.

Beginning with the Azzurri, Moise Kean made his first appearance for the Italian senior side, becoming the first ever player born in the 21st century to don the blue jersey. He came on in the 62nd minute in Italy’s victory over the USA, coming on in place of Domenico Berardi. The Italians sealed the win thanks to Matteo Politano’s stoppage-time winner. Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia De Sciglio also featured in the friendly.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Paulo Dybala scored his first goal for the Argentina senior team. He found the back of the net on 87 minutes to cap off a 2-0 win over Mexico.

Back in Europe, Portugal and Poland played out a 1-1 draw in Guimaraes, in what was the final UEFA Nations League group game for both sides. The result confirmed Portugal’s place as winners of the group, which also featured Italy, and their progress to the Final Four. Joao Cancelo and Wojciech Szczesny both started in the contest.

Medhi Benatia was a starter in Morocco’s 1-0 friendly win away in Tunisia, as was Alex Sandro in Brazil’s 1-0 win over Cameroon in London, a game in which Douglas Costa made a substitute appearance.

Finally, Blaise Matuidi and Rodrigo Bentancur were on opposing sides as France beat Uruguay 1-0 at the Stade de France.
