This afternoon at the Teatro Carignano in Turin, Juventus accepted the "Pergamena dello Sport Torinese 2017" award given by the city of Turin to the distinguished sportspeople of the year.
At the ceremony attended by Turin mayor Chiara Appendino and Councilor for Sport Roberto Finardi, Juventus President Andrea Agnelli and Team Captain Gianluigi Buffon gratefully accepted the award in honor of the club.
"We are living in a very happy time," said President Agnelli. "Our results are the product of all the sacrifices of the boys on the field, the work of the technical staff and the whole organization. The recipe is always the same, to keep working and never give up."
"The advice I would give to young people?" said Buffon. "It would be to always face everything seriously. Over the years, I have learned that sport is a serious matter and as such you must always give your all to improve oneself."
