Stephan Lichtsteiner has been around long enough to know there's only one thing that really matters in football and that's the result. So, while recognising that Juve can and must do better, after Monday's 1-0 victory against Genoa he preferred to focus on the all-important outcome. “We worked hard all week and got a good result tonight without conceding,” the Swiss full-back noted after the final whistle.
“We lacked a bit of energy at the end and found it harder to double up on them, but that was to be expected with all the heavy training we've been doing. Still, we have to do better and put games to bed sooner because at 1-0 anything can happen. “Our ultimate target is winning a seventh Scudetto," he concluded. "At Juve you have to be hungry all the time and we are – we want to challenge on all fronts. “Napoli are flying and this was the response we needed. Seeing them doing so well gives us added incentive not to let up.”
