Lichtsteiner: “We got the job done”

Stephan Lichtsteiner said it was a case of “job done” after Juventus fought back in the second period to defeat Bologna 3-1.“We did what we had to do tonight and we're three points away from the title now,” he began. “It's been a very tiring season because Napoli are having a magnificent campaign. We have to focus on Wednesday now because we have another trophy to win.”Despite eventually running out as comfortable winners, the Bianconeri found it hard going in the first half and initially fell behind to a Simone Verdi penalty.“You can't win every game 4-0,” the Swiss explained. “Sometimes we can struggle too, especially towards the end of the season. That's why we need the fans behind us. “I'm used to it by now but it's still a bit strange to hear the crowd booing at the end of the first half – this is a team that's fighting for a seventh straight Scudetto, after all.”Lichtsteiner also made an announcement regarding his future.“This will be my last season at Juventus,” revealed the 34-year-old, who joined Juventus in 2011. “There comes a time for everyone to seek pastures new. For now though, I'm focused solely on achieving our end-of-season targets at Juventus."
