September got underway for Juve with a 3-0 home win against Chievo Verona. An own goal on a Miralem Pjanic free-kick got the Bianconeri off the mark after 17 minutes, with Gonzalo Higuain adding a second with an incisive finish on 58, before Paulo Dybala wrapped the game up 10 minutes from time.

The Chievo match also saw goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny make his Juventus debut and he didn't disappoint:

Up next was a road game against Sassuolo, where the undoubted star of the show was Paulo Dybala, who netted his second hat-trick of the season. The first being a great strike from distance, that was also a Bianconeri milestone:

La Joya added a second with a toe-poke in the second half, before completing his hat-trick with a stunning free-kick to cap a 1-3 win. Dybala making a good start to the season with his new number:

Further goals from Miralem Pjanic, Alex Sandro and a Dybala dink over the keeper in added time led to Juventus to a 4-0 win over their city rivals Torino.

The familiar Champions League anthem was to get its first airing at the Allianz Stadium, as Juve hosted Olympiacos in their second group stage game. 0-0 at half-time, Massimiliano Allegri sent on Gonzalo Higuain in the second half and scored within seconds of coming on to put Juve a goal to the good. Of course, as would happen later on the season, no hard-fought Juventus win is complete without a trademark Giorgio Chiellini headband:

Of course it was no suprise to see that Paulo Dybala picked up both the MVP and Goal of the Month awards for September:
