Pjanic: A seventh Scudetto would be extraordinary

He was forced to watch Tuesday's match against Real Madrid from the sidelines due to yellow card accumulation, but today Miralem Pjanic shared his view of the match today with the Sky Sport and Mediaset microphones.

"We were very disappointed. We certainly had different expectations and wanted things to go differently," said Pjanic. "We faced a great team that could have scored at any moment and Ronaldo made the difference. He scored two very goals and the first one especially hurt us being scored early.

"We stayed in the game and had several chances but couldn't find the net. We were a bit unlucky because I think we deserved at least a goal. It will be difficult going to the Bernabeu, but we've seen everything in football and we will prepare outselves with the highest focus. We'll go to the Bernabeu wanting to play calmly, intelligently and looking to do something extraordinary."

"Our formation? It will depend on the characteristics of our players and a willingness to attack and defend together. Sometimes with a more packed midfield, the extra man can help but last year we went to the final in a 4-2-3-1 while this year we often played in a 4-3-3. A strong team must know how to play in as many formations as possible."

THE MATCH AGAINST BENEVENTO

As Allegri said after Tuesday night, Juve must look forward and before the Bernabeu, the focus must be on Saturday's match against Benevento and not putting anything to chance.

"It's much like the match against SPAL," said Pjanic. "We saw Benevento win on Wednesday. We will fight until the end and always look to earn all the points. We have to go there with full focus for a win that would help us reach the seventh Scudetto. If we can achieve that it would be extraordinary considering this year is even more difficult given the season that Napoli is having.

Repeating once again would not be something simple or a foregone conclusion because behind every one of the results is sweat and sacrifice."
