Sunday afternoon at the Allianz, Juventus will face Sampdoria for the 120th time as the Bianconeri hold a 57-37-25 record against the Blucerchiati.

With over 100 matches between the clubs, there are certainly plenty of curiosities to take a look at:

  1. THE GREATEST EX - GIANLUCA VIALLI

When you think about players who have worn both shirts, perhaps the first name that comes to mind is the great Gianluca Vialli. The Champions League winner represented three clubs in Italy: Cremonese, Sampdoria and Juventus.

Vialli was a Scudetto winner and three-time Coppa Italia winner with the Blucerchiato while he, of course, lifted the Champions League trophy with the Bianconeri as well as UEFA Cup, Coppa Italia and Serie A.

  1. THE VERY FIRST MEETING

It's been more than 70 years since Juventus and Sampdoria met for the first time in Serie A on 5 January, 1947.

The Bianconeri, coached by Cesarini, fell behind in the 66th minute, but turned things around with 80th and 89th minute goals by Vycpalek and Magni to win 2-1.

  1. A MAGNIFICENT SEVEN

The biggest Juve win over Sampdoria came on 11 February, 1951 as the Danish duo of John(pictured) and Karl-Aage Hansen combined for five out of the seven goals as the Bianconeri ran out 7-2 winners.

  1. ANASTASI-ANASTASI... BETTEGA-BETTEGA

In just a few months time in 1971, Juventus and Samp met at the Comunale with both matches ending by a 3-1 score.

On 2 May 1971, Pietro Anastasi was on point with a double in the 9th and 41st minutes before Roberto Bettega wrapped things up with a 54th minute goal.

The second time around, on 19 December 1971, it was Bettega who found a brace earning three more points for the Bianconeri.

  1. 2016: A SCUDETTO PARTY

It was a party atmosphere on 14 May 2016 as Juve confirmed a fifth consecutive Scudetto winning 5-0 behind a double from Dybala and three collector's item goal from defenders Evra, Chiellini and Bonucci.
