Primavera comeback falls just short for Dal Canto's boys against Napoli

Coming off last Saturday's 1-0 derby win, the Primavera entered Saturday with another big match against Napoli at the Ale&Ricky Pitch in Vinovo.

This time, the Primavera could not quite earn three points falling 3-2 to Napoli in a thrilling match in Vinovo.

The first half saw Juventus start stronger nearly taking the lead after four minutes from Jakupovic as his shot was blocked by the Napoli defender Schaeper.

Juve would have another couple chances before the visitors took the lead in the 22nd minute. Senese was quickest to a Napoli corner scoring from close range to make it 1-0 for the Neopolitans.

A wild second half saw Napoli double their lead early on. Zerbin was able to deflect Palmieri's shot past Loria for a second strike by the Partenopei.

After a chance for Del Sole, Napoli would make it a third in the 68th minute as Palmieri scored after some good work from Gaetano down the right side giving the forward an easy finish.

However, the Bianconeri would respond from this point as Jakupovic forced an own goal in the 73rd minute giving Dal Canto's side some hope of a comeback.

After a few chances, a grandstand finish was set up when Kameraj found the back of the net in the 91st minute to cut the Napoli lead to 3-2 with six minutes of stoppage time added on.

The Bianconeri would earn a couple corners giving them chances to equalize but could not quite find the decisive goal and the visiting Napoli ran out 3-2 winners in Vinovo.
