THE BIANCONERE'S OPPONENTS

Res Roma currently find themselves in sixth place on 15 points in the Serie A table, with five wins and seven draws. The team has scored 14 goals (six at home) and conceded 17 (six at home). Melania Martinovic is Roma's top scorer with five goals to her name.

Earlier in the season the two sides met on the second matchday, in what was Juventus Women's first ever Serie A home game. The Bianconere ran out 4-0 winners at Vinovo, as Benedetta Glionna put them ahead in the first half, in the second, an own-goal doubled Juve's lead, before Lisa Boattin won and converted a penalty to make it three. The result was capped off by Aurora Galli who struck a low, well-placed shot to put four on the scoreboard.

LAST TIME OUT

Last weekend, Juventus Women produced a 3-0 win over Atalanta Mozzanica to start the second half of their season just as they started the first.

Barbara Bonansea struck in the 17th minute to put the Bianconere infront and then just two minutes later it was 2-0, as Glionna got on the end of Martina Rosucci's pass. Juve wrapped up the game in the final 20 minutes when Arianna Caruso drove low into the back of the net to seal it.

The win kept Juventus Women in pole position at the top of the standings and three points clear of Brescia in second place.
