Born in Turin, Sebastian Giovinco emerged through the club’s youth ranks alongside Claudio Marchisio, winning the Primavera championship in 2006 and making his debut for the first team in 2008 against Catania.
After a fruitful spell at Parma, Juventus brought him back to play in the black and white stripes in 2012.
He featured prominently in Juve’s 2012/13 Champions League campaign, scoring in the 4-0 home win against Nordsjaelland and netting the third goal in the famous 3-0 Juventus Stadium victory against European Champions Chelsea.
His vision, speed and fleet-footed movement have also seen him represent the national side at every level from Under 16 onwards. He scored his first goal for the Azzurri seniors in the 2013 Confederations Cup against Japan.
