Italian Cup 1995
 

Juve’s cup campaign began in August against Chievo (0-0 in Torino, 3-1 in Verona) and continued in October against Reggiana (2-0 and 1-2). In the quarter-finals the Bianconeri met Roma. For the first leg, played in Torino, Vialli and his team mates gave the Giallorossi no chance and booked their place in the semi final with a 3-0 triumph (two from Vialli and another from Ravanelli). At the Olympic stadium, Juve struggled to find their rhythm and a Ravanelli penalty brought Lippi’s men back on track, having been 2-0 down.
 

Juventus faced a tough challenge in the semi-final, against Lazio, but the first leg at the Olympic stadium saw one of the hosts’ best performances of the season. The partnership of Baggio and Ravanelli created a great goal for the “White Feather” and they took a decent 1-0 lead to Lazio for the second leg. Lazio go ahead but Juve come back to secure a place in the final thanks to goals from Marocchi and Baggio.

The final against Parma is the last act of a season that saw both sides battling for victory on all fronts, from the Championship to the UEFA Cup. As it happened, heading into the Italian cup final, both clubs stood on one trophy each. Juve won the Scudetto and Parma lifted the UEFA Cup.
The first leg was played at the Delle Alpi on June 7th 1995. An edgy match was resolved by a scrappy goal, Porrini the scorer. Doubts remained as to whether 1-0 would be enough for the Bianconeri in the return leg. However, Juventus came out fighting at the Tardini and Porrini scored again, with Ravanelli adding another, to end the season with a cup triumph.
