Fernando Llorente weighs in with another decisive goal against Udinese tonight, making it three in three Serie A games for the Spaniard: “I'm really happy with both the last-gasp goal and how things are going for me”
Fernando Llorente pulled out of the bag perhaps his most important Juventus goal yet this evening against Francesco Guidolin’s men, heading past Zeljko Brkic right at the death to extend Juve’s lead at the top in Serie A.
Speaking after the final whistle, the Spanish hitman offered his verdict on a difficult test overcome: “It was a tough game. We created plenty of chances but it didn't seem like we'd find the breakthrough, though we managed to grab the winner right at the end.”
The 28-year-old striker seems more and more at ease with his Bianconeri team-mates as the goals continue to fly in (he has now scored three in his last three Serie A outings), a feeling he confirmed.
“I'm really happy with both the last-gasp goal and how things are going for me. It was difficult to imagine a start like this.
“I've managed to fit in well but I'm continuing to work hard in order to improve and perform even better.”
