Carrera: "A deserved victory"

The coach gave his thoughts after watching Juve make it four out of four in Serie A: "It wasn't easy for us, Chievo came here and shut up shop"

That's four on the bounce for Juve in the league now. Parma, Udinese, Genoa and now Chievo have all succumbed to the black and white army. Tonight's visitors fought valiantly but eventually caved in to a Quagliarella in blistering form.

It means Buffon and pals continue to look down on the rest of Serie A as they head into a tough week with fixtures against Lazio and Napoli. Massimo Carrera was all smiles after the final whistle: "The lads responded well again. It wasn't easy for us because Chievo came here and shut up shop. We had to bide our time but in the end we ran out deserved winners. We didn't stop playing after the second goal either – that's the mentality we have in this team. We're always looking to score and if we keep doing that we can only become better still. Quagliarella? He's in superb form at the moment as he proved tonight. I'm happy for him and also the new lads Pogba, Lucio and Isla, who all did well today."
