Juventus Primavera involved in NextGen Series

A new adventure for the Bianconeri lads who will play the best European sides

Juventus Primavera are going to live a new extraordinary adventure. The Bianconeri will participate in the next edition of NextGen Series, the international tournament referred to as the ‘Youngsters’ Champions League’.

The development of the tournament pretty seems that of the most important continental competition, in particular this new edition which will see 24 sides involved instead of 16. The best European clubs will be divided into six groups having four sides each, among which there will be sixteen sides which will deal with the qualifying heats, that is the first two teams in each group in addition to the four best thirds. The encounters will start in August and will include two games (first and second leg matches), while from the qualifications all fixtures will see a direct elimination up to the final which will be scheduled in spring, when the European young football queen will be crowned.

“Juventus participate in the ‘NextGen Series’ tournament for the very first time, and we’re very glad for this invitation - pointed out Juventus Academy Sports Director Giovanni Rossi - Our lads will give their all to honour the competition and the Bianconeri’s colours.”

The young Bianconeri have been inserted in Group 2 along with Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain, and Fenerbache. A very strong group as well as the others considering the very high level of the participants.
