Llorente: “I’ve still got more to give”

Fernando Llorente gets on the scoresheet once again against Real Madrid: “I’m happy to have netted another goal against them, but I’m only at 60% of what I can do at the moment”

With seven goals in total against Real Madrid and now two in as many Champions League games whilst at his new club, Fernando Llorente knows how to find the back of the net when he comes up against Los Blancos.

The Spanish striker’s header past Iker Casillas this evening could be crucial to Juve’s chances of qualification from Champions League Group B, and in an interview after the 2-2 draw against Carlo Ancelotti’s men he said: “I’m happy to have scored against Real again. We’re working hard on crosses, I haven’t been playing here long and my team-mates are still getting to know my game.

“At the moment, I think I’ve showed about 60% of what I’m capable of, but I’m gaining more and more confidence and I’m sure I have extra to give: I’m looking to be more ruthless in and around the box, for example.”
