Riccardo Montanaro
Born in Alba (Cuneo) on 25 July 1957, he graduated in law at the University of Turin in 1981.
A lawyer specialised in administrative law, his career began in the law firm of Prof. Marco Siniscalco (becoming a partner of the law firm “Siniscalco – Montanaro” in 2000) and from 2003 as leading partner in the studio “Montanaro e Associati”.
He is a visiting professor in the course of Environmental Law at the University of Turin, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Faculty of Law; previously he taught in the Master course for Environmental Experts of the Scuola di Amministrazione Aziendale (Business School) of Turin in 1998/1999; in the course in Environmental Law at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Faculty of Law of Alessandria) from 1998 to 2003; in the specialisation course in Environmental Law (now a Master course) at the Faculty of Law of Alessandria from 1998 to 2004; in the course in Environmental Law at the Politecnico di Torino from 2000 to 2004.
A speaker at conferences on administrative and environmental legal issues, and the author of many publications, he is also a member of the editorial board of the review “Ambiente e Sviluppo”. He is the President of the State Music Conservatory “G. Verdi” of Turin.
