Marzio Saà
Born in Biella on 24 July 1940; after graduating in Business Studies at the University of Turin, he attained a Business Administration Master at the University of Denver (Colorado, USA) and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He joined the Audit sector at Andersen in Milan in 1964, and his entire career was spent at the audit and company consulting multinational: after working for a while in the company's branch in Newark (New Jersey, USA), he was in charge of the Milan office between 1976 and 1980 and again from 1986 to 1993, the year he was put in charge of all Arthur Andersen activities in Italy and he was a member of the European Operating Committee until 2001.
From June 2000 up until the end of his career at Andersen (in December 2001) he was Central Mediterranean Region manager.
A member of the Directorate at Assirevi (the Italian audit companies association) from 1980 to 2001, he has been Director of several companies.
At the present he is member of the Board of Directors of Parmalat (where he is also Chairman of the Audit and Governance Committee), Same Deutz-Fahr Group, ING Direct, Erfin and ITS. He's taught Accounting at the Bocconi University in Milan since 2002.
