7 August 2009 - Martin Caceres on loan at Juventus

The agreement with Barcellona has been signed: the defender has been transferred on loan to Juventus with an option for a definite move.

TURIN, 7TH AUGUST 2009 – Uruguay defender Martin Caceres will be playing for Juventus. The official notice arrived today with the transfer from Barcellona which foresees a loan for a year with an option on the definite transfer to Juventus.

The Juventus sports director Alessio Secco expressed his satisfaction: «With the signing of Caceres we have concluded the transfer market signings and we are providing the coach with a quality defender who notwithstanding his age has already a vast international experience. His technical and personal characteristics – added Secco – should guarantee a quick adaptation to the group and Italian football».
